Today was a good day!

Postby HawaiianShorts » Sun Oct 06, 2013 10:06 pm

decided last minute to hit up my backyard pond. wind has been BLOWIN' the past couple of days and super dry air. I get shocked every time I get out the car! I'd figured I'll wet a line at least with very little hope of landing monsters. got to the launch ramp around 6:30a and I was greeted by a stiff offshore wind. I almost didn't launch but getting off the freeway I didn't see water caps on the water. So, it's time to go fishing!! :P

Today was no where near an epic day. Fish came and go so no real wide open bite.. but instead a slow but steady bite. Quality was better than normal and I was lucky to land my personal best!

Good job! Thanks for doing the "flip-flop" comparison, it really helps to judge the size, LOL. These are quite big compared to the last ones!

Nice fish; is your shoe little or are the fish big?

You didn't check in with me because you knew that I would be jealous!
