No Cuda No Problem!

Decent day of fishing is better than not fishing at all! met up with Yotsman at the ramp this morning to find a big crowd of boaters. barracuda and sandbass are biting so it's no surprise there. launched by 6:30a to find another beautiful morning.. flat seas + no wind = smooth ride! decided to hit up some sculpins first since the cudas bit in the afternoon the past few days. turns out to be a good call! fished all morning for a handful of rockfish and sculpins. decided to head in around noon so we drove by the barracuda spot just to check things out. birds were diving all over the place when we got there and a dozen boats are already in the area. despite our best efforts, we couldn't land a cuda.. went in around 2:30p to be greeted by Fish & Game Warden checking for under size fish. real cool guy!

Enjoy the scenery:

Nice catch. What is the minimum requirement for those fishes? I have been busy at work but will be out there next week

I didn't get any fresh bait before this trip and it greatly affected the catch census :( I am prepared for the next outing, where, when are we going? :D
